Brief Background:
corona mortis/crown of death,CMOR is a blood vessel connecting the external and internal iliac systems. It is 5.28 cm from the symphysis of the pubic bone and 1.37 cm above the suprapubic branch. It has been reported that death after injury is caused, so it is called the "crown of death" or "death ring". The discovery rate is about 70% ~ 80%, and the vascular variation is 13.6%. The incidence of coronary death due to arteries is slightly higher than that of venous death, and the probability of death due to arteries and veins is higher.
Classification:
1:Arterial corona mortis
-The obturator artery connected to the external iliac artery;
— The obturator artery connected to the inferior abdominal wall artery;
— Anastomotic branches of obturator artery and inferior abdominal artery;
— Derived from the obturator artery without anastomosis with the external iliac artery (pubic branch).
2: Venous corona mortis
-The obturator vein that enters the external iliac vein;
— The obturator vein that enters the inferior abdominal wall;
— Anastomotic branches of obturator vein and inferior abdominal vein
3:artery and vein corona mortis
