Common problems in laparoscopic surgery mainly include: blurring and fogging of the lens, emission of carbon dioxide and irritating gas smoke in the abdominal cavity.
1.Lens blur
(1). Use a thermos cup to hold 70-80 degrees of heat sterilized water for injection. Put the laparoscopic lens into the cup to preheat for more than ten seconds to prevent the lens from fogging. Every time the lens is contaminated, put it in the cup first. Heat, then wipe with clean gauze;
(2). Wipe the lens with iodophor gauze ball, and then wipe with clean gauze to leave a film of iodine solution on the lens to prevent the lens from fogging;
(3). Converting the carbon dioxide gas inlet, not sharing Trocar with the lens, reducing the influence factors of low lens temperature;
(4). Use special anti-fog oil to coat the lens
2.Smoke in the abdominal cavity during laparoscopic surgery
| Types | Direct exhaust through the infusion set | Through the infusion set, directly connect the negative pressure suction pipe to exhaust | Exhaust through thick latex pipe |
| Method | Connect the threaded connection port of the infusion set to the Trocar vent, and immerse the other end of the infusion set in salt water, because carbon dioxide is soluble in water, which can reduce part of the carbon dioxide emitted into the operating room | The threaded connection port of the infusion set is connected to the Trocar vent, and the cork puncture needle is inserted into the suction trachea to form a negative pressure environment. Open the Trocar vent valve, and the irritating gas and carbon dioxide are directly sucked away by the negative pressure; | Gynecological laparoscopic surgery routine intraoperative urinary catheterization, use a 20ml syringe with water, put a 20ml syringe needle with one end of a thick latex tube, connect to the suction tube; connect the other end to the Trocar vent to form a negative pressure environment, open the Trocar vent Valve, irritating gas and carbon dioxide are directly sucked away by negative pressure |
| Advantages | easy to use | Active exhaust, controllable speed, zero emission of irritating gas and carbon dioxide during operation | Rapid exhaust, clear operation field, zero emission of irritating gas and carbon dioxide during operation |
| Disadvantages | Passive exhaust, poor effect, pungent odor | Pipeline management, risk of needle stick injuries | Thick pipe diameter easily affects intra-abdominal pressure and risk of needle stick injury |
