Powered Stapler

The stapler is a clinically used device that replaces the traditional manual suture. It uses titanium nails to break or anastomose tissues, that is, to fire and implant two rows of interlaced sutures into the tissue for cross suture. With the improvement of technology, the stapler has gradually entered the era of the third-generation electric stapler from the first-generation open surgical stapler and the second-generation endoscopic stapler.

Studies have shown that compared with manual staplers, surgeons use electric staplers to reduce bleeding complications by nearly half.

The application field of the stapler continues to expand, and it is widely used in the surgical fields of cardiothoracic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, hepatobiliary spleen and pancreatic surgery, general surgery, urology, etc., which improves the efficiency and quality of surgery and shortens the recovery time. According to differences in structure and function, staplers can be divided into tubular staplers, linear staplers and endoscopic staplers (endoscopic minimally invasive surgery). Among them, endoscopic staplers, which are widely used in minimally invasive surgery, are the mainstream products. Electric endoscopic cutting stapler is the development trend of endoscopic stapler.
